Close up of Frames

The is a frame that I found at a thift store for $3.oo. I painted it white. You can use spray paint or acrylic paint. I made sure the frames had glass in them. The more design on the frame the better. I have a couple of frames that

are plain, but then a some with design like the one in this piture. I do not think I paid over $7.00 for a frame. Of course I had to search for the frames and visit many thrift stores, but it was worth the price! I found the yellow scrapbook paper at a local craft store. I bought the large pieced and had to use approx. 1.5 pieces per frame.

Close up of Flowers

The flowers are really easy to make. I was able to make 4 medium flowers with 4 sheets of tissue paper stacked on top of eachother. I used basic green floral stem. I have not cut the stems yet, so they look a little long in the picture.

Grey and Yellow Centerpieces

I am getting married this summer!! I made these centerpices for under $10 for my open house. I am on a strict budget for my wedding. The centerpieces consist of yellow and white tissue paper flowers, tall glass vase with a grey design paper in it, picture frame painted white with yellow scrapbook paper underneath the glass. A 1/2 yard of yellow fabric with grey edging that was sewed on. The candle holders were clear glass, but I spray painted them with a special gloss. Each holder as a LED tealight. I was able to buy the LED in bulk; there also similar lights that are not LED and have more of a candle flicker effect.
